Step inside a Garífuna home and cook alongside Garífuna ancestral cooks—the women who carry these recipes and traditions through generations.

This is not just about learning to cook.

It’s a full Garífuna immersion through food, cultural storytelling and mindful connection.

You’ll make 3 ancestral recipes from scratch, share everything you cook around the family table with your host, and discover the meaning behind the food, ingredients and traditions.

And because food is also a way of connecting with ourselves, you’ll be guided into mindful eating—slowing down, using your senses and being present with the experience.

Note: we work together as a community, so a Garifuna kitchen house will be designated after the reservation, we work with 25 different selected houses ready to accommodate a maximum of 30 people each!
