Ήταν το 1958 όταν ο Γεώργιος Ζαχαρόπουλος, γνωστός και ως «Καλαματιανός», άνοιξε το πρώτο του μαγαζί κάτω από τα Λαδάδικα μπροστά από την τότε πύλη του λιμανιού. Το όνομα - μια αναφορά στις ρίζες του, από την Καλαμάτα.

Λίγα χρόνια αργότερα, το 1968, «ταξίδεψε» στον Σταυρό. Εκεί, γοητευμένος από την αυθεντική ομορφιά της περιοχής Μηλιές, αποφασίζει να δημιουργήσει έναν χώρο που θα φιλοξενούσε κάτι παραπάνω από απλώς φαγητό: μια εμπειρία.

Από το 1975 μέχρι σήμερα, το Kalamatianos Seafood Restaurant, συνεχίζει να σερβίρει γεύσεις που τιμούν την ελληνική θάλασσα και την οικογενειακή του ιστορία - από γενιά σε γενιά, με τον ίδιο σεβασμό και μεράκι.

Στον Σταυρό, εκεί που το παρελθόν συναντά τη γεύση του σήμερα, σας περιμένουμε για ένα ταξίδι που δεν ξεχνιέται.
