Here in Skiathos, this beautiful green lizard is known as Agustera. A little local resident that has been part of the island, especially Koukounaries, for generations. So Agustera isn't just a name, it's a small part of Skiathos identity and we are proud to have a green lizard relaxing in a cocktail glass as our logo. 🍸🦎
Today I was lucky enough to spot a real Agustera, and I thought it was the perfect time to share the story behind our name.
Our name has a story, and that story begins right here on Skiathos. 💚
