Some stories are not just about a restaurant. They are about people...

A few weeks ago we honestly didn't know if Sunrise would be able to open again.

After the natural disaster that hit Skala everything we had built was suddenly uncertain.

What followed was a long and difficult journey with a lot of hard work, countless hours and one simple goal to welcome you back to Sunrise Fishrestaurant.

At the beginning of July, we finally open our doors.
And then something truly special happened...

You came back, you supported us, you believed in us.
Every table you shared with us, every kind word, every smile, every message of support and every visit meant more than we can put into words.

You didn't just support a restaurant, you support the people behind it and for that we we are truly grateful. ❤️

And we are still here
Still cooking your favorite dishes
Still welcoming you
Still serving the fresh flavors of the sea that Sunrise has always been known for
And still creating beautiful moments around the table in Skala.

Thank you for steading by us, thank you for helping us rise again and thank you for being part of our story.

After one of the most challenging periods we have ever faced we are incredibly happy to share that Sunrise fish restaurant is reopening tomorrow Friday 3rd of July.

The recent natural disaster that affected Skala left us uncertain about whether we would be able to welcome you back this summer. There where moments when reopening seemed almost impossible.

But thanks to determination, hard work and the support of so many people we are ready to open our doors once again.

This is more than just a reopening of a restaurant. It is a new beginning.

From tomorrow we look forward to welcoming our friends, our loyal guests ad our local community. We are ready to do what we love most, serving fresh seafood, creating memorable dining experiences and sharing unforgettable moments by the sea.

To everyone who stood by us, encouraged and believe in us thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support has meant everything.

We would like to inform you that Sunrise fish restaurant is still closed due to ongoing improvement works in the road.

While we are working to welcome you back you can enjoy your favorite SEAFOOD PLATTER at our new restaurant Casa Amare(across the taxi station)

The recent storms left more than just marks on our coastline; they challenged the very heart of our first seaside home. With the road network damaged and access to our restaurant temporarily cut off, these past two months have been a test of strength.

However, amidst the waves, we found something incredible: You.

Your overwhelming messages of support, your kind words, and your constant interest have been the fuel keeping our spirits high. We cannot thank you enough for standing by us during this time.

Our Promise to You
We are fighters. Kefalonia is our home, and we refuse to let the elements define our future. We are working tirelessly with the local authorities and our team to restore access. Our goal is clear: to welcome you back to our seaside spot this summer. We aren’t backing down, and we will keep you updated every step of the way.

While we rebuild, the spirit of our hospitality hasn't moved an inch. We are thrilled to announce that our second restaurant in the area is officially open and ready to welcome you!
