To our dear friends, our frequent travelers, and our global family,
Since 1989, the doors of the Epsilon Center have been more than just a place of work for us, they have been the doors to our home. Today, with a heart full of both pride and nostalgia, we are announcing that Kouros Bar (which many of you loved as Mama’s Kitchen) has officially served its last meal.
For over 35 years, our family—my father, my mother, my brother, and myself—have had the honor of being part of your summer. We watched your children grow up, and then watched them bring their own children back to see us. We cheered together through legendary football matches, shared thousands of laughs over cold beers, and tried to give you a taste of true Rhodian hospitality that no "all-inclusive" resort could ever replicate.
The world of tourism is changing, and as the industry moves in a different direction, we have decided that it is the right time for this specific chapter to end. We chose to keep it personal until the very end, because for us, you were never just "tourists"—you were our guests and our friends.
However, this isn't a final goodbye. While the restaurant is closing, our family is staying right here. Our second shop, located exactly next door, will remain open and will be expanding into our old space. We aren't leaving the Epsilon Center; we are just growing in a new way.
To everyone who walked through our doors in Faliraki since 1989: Thank you for giving us a lifetime of memories. We look forward to seeing your familiar faces next door for many more years to come.
As we say in Greece, Εις το επανιδείν—until we meet again.
With love and gratitude,
Kouros Family.
