The Life of Angels Karpathos Karpathian food prepared fresh daily from family recipes! We use fresh vegetables from Karpathos and from Crete. Wines from Crete and Northern Greece.

Over 110 years old, The Life of Angels began as a coffeeshop for the men of the villages to gather, have their coffee, talk, play tavli and play traditional Karpathian Music. Built by Zoedia Karavias it is a one of a kind building in all of Karpathos. Serving traditional Greek Cuisine with recipes passed down through the generations. It is a place to eat well and admire the best view of Pigadia bay. Come join us! Bringing a piece of the past into the future.

When my great-great grandmother built the "kafenio" it was the mid 1800s... when my grandfather built my mother's house it was the mid 1900s... tradition has always been important to us... and there's a reason there's a cliff below the store. The sea gets angry in the winter and Poseidon likes to keep everything on the lower road running... whilst we enjoy the view from above. 🧿
