If you want a relaxing evening head for the old village on the hill and visit the wonderful Bella Vista Taverna. From the terrace with its olive tree canopy and the hanged Greek style pumpkins, you'll find a knockout view of the bay and you'll see across the Ionian Pelagos to the mountainous of the Greek mainland. The menu features familiar dishes like Sofrito, Stifado and Pastitsio, all of them freshly cooked and with inspired original touches. The atmosphere is completely relaxed -a delight, and when it gets dark the starlight is spectacular, also the full moon nights are not to be missed. Situated high up in the old village of Moraitika

Names, dates, a few messages we cannot read anymore.

Guests started doing it years ago and we never asked them to stop.

Some of those names come back every summer. Some brought their children, and now their children bring theirs.

Since 1978, and still the best part of the job.

As the sun dips behind Moraitika, Bella Vista comes alive. Candles lit, warm lights flicker over the tables, and the smell of tonight’s specials drifts from the kitchen.
