We are the only restaurant in Greece to receive such an enormous award and amongst a very limited list in the world.
The award recognises Matzenta for offering a Mexican culinary selection based on recipes that reflect Mexico’s cultural & culinary diversity
The “SELLO M” distinction was awarded by the Mexican Academy of Gastronomy & the Ministry of foreign affairs to our restaurant in recognition of our rich Mexican culinary offering

El “Sello M distintivo de la gastronomía mexicana” fue otorgado conjuntamente por la Academia Mexicana de Gastronomía y la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores, al establecimiento Matzenta Kuzina del Sol por su rica oferta gastronómica mexicana en la categoría de RESTAURANTE.
Matzenta cuenta con una oferta gastronómica mexicana basada en un menú con recetas que reflejan la diversidad cultural y culinaria de Mexico utilizando ingredientes propios de la cocina mexicana o equivalentes locales en Creta que preservan la esencia de los platillos; y, en particular, porque también demostramos experiencia en la auténtica cocina tradicional mexicana.
