Christos and Andonis have known each other since they were kids — back then, basketball brought them together, and now, gastronomy has led them to a new project. They will be cooking outdoor over an open fire, foraging for fresh local Cretan ingredients, and even using what isn’t native to Crete but has become part of the everyday culinary vocabulary (think tomatoes and even avocados). It is part of our greater philosophy: chefs should travel, but not the ingredients. And this global mindset will be present at our table.

Sterja 2.0 is not a restaurant, it’s a philosophy. It’s an opportunity to gather around the table and experience a healthy, seasonal cuisine, featuring ingredients that come from passionate producers, wild-caught fish, and local meats. The goal? Bring guests delicious plates with lots of character as part of a holistic gastronomical experience, all tied to this island and to memories these guys have of enjoying lunch and dinner outside, in nature.

Η καθημερινή επαφή με τον ψαρά μάς μας επιτρέπει να έχουμε κάθε φορα φρέσκο ψάρι στο εστιατόριο μας . Ψάρια τα οποία ειναι «παρεξηγημένα» ψήνονται στα κάρβουνα είτε σερβίρονται ωμά ανάλογα με το τι ταιριάζει στο κάθε ψάρι που έχει επιλέξει ο σεφ .saridakis .
