If you love Greek good food, beautiful presentation and creative Greek cuisine, I highly recommend Ateno

We visited last night and absolutely loved it. The dishes were beautifully presented, the flavours were wonderful, and there was so much imagination and creativity in every plate! A lovely way to discover Greek cuisine through a fresh, contemporary perspective.

Located in the heart of Athens, it’s a great choice for a special lunch or dinner while exploring the city centre. Closed on Mondays.

Hidden just 3 stops away from our Airbnb and 2’ walk from Sygrou-Fix metro station lies a tiny slice of Japan that completely stole our hearts: KUCHISABISHII

This cozy, beautiful little spot has an incredible, warm atmosphere with phenomenal service that makes you feel instantly at home. The food is simply mouthwatering, and the prices are surprisingly good!

Good to know: They don’t take reservations, so you might have to wait a little bit outside, but trust us, it is 100% worth every minute. Even better? It’s completely pet-friendly, so you can bring your furry little companion along for the adventure! 🐾

Highly recommended for a cozy, authentic dine.

The Archaeological Museum of Corfu offers a fascinating journey through the island’s ancient past, from the prehistoric period to the Roman era. Visitors can discover important archaeological finds from ancient Corfu and explore the island’s connection with the wider Greek world.

The Holy Monastery of Platytera

Just a short distance from Corfu Old Town, the historic Monastery of Platytera was founded in 1743 and has been deeply connected with the history of Corfu and the Kapodistrias family. Rebuilt after being destroyed by fire in 1798, it evolved into a vital spiritual and cultural landmark of the island.

Beyond its serene atmosphere and remarkable post-Byzantine icons, the monastery holds profound national significance as the final resting place of Ioannis Kapodistrias, the first Governor of independent Greece and other historical figures. It remains a peaceful sanctuary where faith, art, and Corfiot heritage beautifully intertwine.
