Υπάρχει κάτι στην Ελλάδα που κάνει ακόμη και τις πιο απλές στιγμές να μοιάζουν ξεχωριστές.

Ίσως είναι το φως που μένει λίγο περισσότερο τα απογεύματα του Σεπτέμβρη. Η μυρωδιά του φρεσκοκομμένου ψωμιού και των μυρωδικών. Τα πιάτα που φτάνουν στη μέση του τραπεζιού και κανείς δεν θυμάται πλέον ποιος παρήγγειλε τι. Το κρασί που ξαναγεμίζει τα ποτήρια, οι φωνές που μπλέκονται με τα γέλια και μια κουβέντα που δεν θέλεις να τελειώσει.

Είναι εκείνα τα καλοκαιρινά τραπέζια που ξεκινούν με μια απλή συνάντηση και, χωρίς να το καταλάβεις, γίνονται κομμάτι των αναμνήσεών σου.

Γιατί κάπως έτσι έχουμε μάθει να ζούμε το "πάμε για ένα φαγητό" στην Ελλάδα. Γύρω από ένα τραπέζι, με ανθρώπους που αγαπάμε και γεύσεις που μας είναι οικείες.

Και στην Thomas, αυτό το τραπέζι στρώνεται ξανά και ξανά.

Thomas 1971 is more than a tavern. It is a little piece of old Athens, still alive in the heart of Koukaki.

Since 1971, generations have gathered around its tables for the things that matter most: good food, good w**e, long conversations, and the simple pleasure of being together.

Through the years, Athens has changed. Koukaki has changed. But some things here have stayed exactly as they should... honest Greek flavors, warm hospitality, and a table that always feels familiar.

Thomas continues to tell the same story, one table at a time. Some places don’t need to follow time. They become part of it.
