Soggiorno fantastico, Hotel molto pulito e ben organizzato. La piscina non troppo grande permette di rilassarsi in una splendida atmosfera della Grecia circondati dalle tipiche casette. Un bar in piscina dove puoi anche mangiare buonissimi piatti tipici preparati dalla cuoca, la mamma del proprietario Costantino, il cuore della struttura che ci ha ricevuto al NS arrivo e ci ha consigliato e organizzato delle gite stupende. Ci siamo trovati benissimo abbiamo passato una splendida settimana grazie a tutto lo staff la soprattutto al proprietario Costantino.

Willkommen im Paradies! Ich bin mit meiner Tochter relativ spontan nach Santorini geflogen. Wir wurden so freundlich empfangen. Kostas, der Manager von Mathios, nimmt sich persoenlich die Zeit, alles Wichtige zu erklaren und macht Vorschlaege, wie man die Insel am besten kennenlernt. Ich war sehr dankbar dafuer und kann nach 9 Tagen sagen, dass ich mich in Santorini verliebt habe.
Wir haben eine Katamaran-Cruise gebucht, die fuer uns unvergesslich bleiben wird. Auch hier war alles sehr ungezwungen und gleichzeitig bis ins letzte Detail vorbereitet worden. Wir haben tolle Leute kennengelernt.
Das Hotel ist familiaer gefuehrt, was mir besonders gefallen hat. Das Essen wird aus frischen Zutaten zubereitet und das schmeckt man.
Der Zimmerservice ist perfekt. So sauber habe ich noch nie ein anderes Hotel etlebt. Der Pool ist ebenfalls sehr gepfegt und die Zimmer sind ruhig und mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht.
Fuer mich steht jetzt schon fest, dass ich wiederkomme!

Wonderful!
My daughters and I recently returned from a week at Hotel Mathios Village and had the most wonderful time there. We were immediately made to feel so welcome by Kostas and the friendly staff. It's a smaller hotel, calm ambience, tastefully decorated and situated in really pleasant surroundings. It has appeal for people of all ages. We ate at the onsite restaurant a few times, including attending a traditional Greek night, hosted by Kostas. Morning breakfasts were plentiful and highly appetising.

We stayed in the comfy family suite, only a few steps from the lovely pool. Slept very well and we were very happy with the facilities.

Kostas suggested visiting the local villages which I highly recommend. So pretty and far less busy than Oia. We also hired a car and went on a sunset cruise ( as recommended by Kostas). If you plan to go to Oia, then head out early as it becomes so busy.

The spectacular caldera sunrises and sunsets are only a minute's walk away and these were an absolute highlight for me.

I can definitely recommend this hotel and should I return to Santorini, I will be heading straight back to see Kostas and his family at Hotel Mathis Village! Thank you so much Kostas :)
