JOIN THE EL KASBAH TEAM!

We’re looking for reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking people to join our team. Full-time and part-time positions available.

The role includes serving customers, taking orders, preparing drinks, bar work, setting up/clearing tables, cleaning, restocking and helping wherever needed. Everyone gets stuck in — no job is beneath anyone!

There are also opportunities to get involved beyond the restaurant, including events, music, arts, culture, marketing, social media and business operations.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO:

* Speak fluent English — essential!!!
* Must be 18+ years old!
* Are reliable, punctual and responsible
* Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Work well under pressure and as part of a team
* Are friendly and confident with customers
* Use initiative and are willing to learn
* Are happy to help with all restaurant duties
* Can work evenings and/or weekends

Hospitality or barista experience is a bonus, but not essential. Training can be provided.

STUDENTS & GAP-YEAR APPLICANTS WELCOME

Evening and Saturday shifts can suit A-Level students, while gap-year applicants can gain valuable experience in hospitality, business and events.

🇬🇮 Celebrating Gibraltar, our community & the people who make it happen!

Every year, events like our National Day Street Party are made possible not just by the hard work of our staff and local performers, but by the support we receive from Gibraltar Cultural Services , Ministry of Equality, Employment, Culture and Tourism and the Self Determination of Gibraltar Group.

Their support on our annual National week celebrations event, Rock El Kasbah, is a great example of what can happen when Government actively invests in local culture, local businesses and the people who bring our community to life. For small businesses, particularly, having institutions that recognise the value we bring to our community and are willing to support us makes a real difference❤️

We’re proud to be part of Gibraltar’s small business and cultural community, and we believe that supporting local culture should mean more than just saying it, it means creating opportunities, backing local talent, supporting independent businesses and giving our community a safe space to come together!

So, once again, we’re taking over La Calle Comedia on Saturday 29th August for our annual Street Party as we get ready to celebrate National Day! 🇬🇮❤️🤍

🍽️ This week’s specials! 🍽️

Making a come back due to popularity is our mini chicken pastela. Perfect for a cheeky snack or as a tapa alongside our other tasty dishes!

We also have a beef tagine this week. Slow-cooked with carrots, peas, olives and Moroccan spices, served with a handful of our homemade fries (can be substituted for rice if preferred). It’s been on our specials board for a couple of days and it’s proving to be a popular dish! 🔥
