During the Edina Bakatue Festival, we were honoured to host a powerful theatre performance by Smile Fun House, a group from the Theatre Arts Department of the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
Through art, culture, education, and storytelling, the performance brought to life the painful history of the slave trade and the dark chapter represented by Elmina Castle — reminding us of the things we must never forget, and the lessons we must carry forward.
