We first met Barbara in 2019.

Curious and hardworking, Barbara wanted to study and see the world. But like many young girls in Namuwongo, her day revolved around caring for her siblings, cooking, and worrying about her future.

But thanks to our incredible community of supporters, Barbara now receives Music and Life-Skills Education, and plays the E-flat tuba brilliantly! Every week, she must walk for an hour to go to and from her lessons, but she doesn't let the distance get in the way of her passion for music.

Today, she is a proud young musician and inspiration to all who know her. Thank you for transforming the future of young girls like Barbara!
