1 Timothy 1:4 AMP
nor to pay attention to legends (fables, myths) and endless genealogies, which give rise to useless speculation and meaningless arguments rather than advancing God’s program of instruction which is grounded in faith [and requires surrendering the entire self to God in absolute trust and confidence].
From the above scripture 4b says; God's instructions are grounded in faith, therefore without faith it will be impossible to obey. No wonder it's difficult to follow the instructions given us by God through our Pastor's.
The bible says faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God and to some extent seeing the works of God. It also say it is the things not seen yet believed.
Prayer: We pray that this year any instructions given us from God through our Pastor, we ask for grace and courage to follow through to the end to see the manifestation of God in our lives. Amen
