DO YOU WISH TO LEARN HOW TO MAKE PERFECT ASAANA LOCAL DRINK AT HOME.
Ingredients
Dry corn
Water
Sugar
Ice cube or (sstored in a fridge to chill
Milk (optional)
METHOD
1. soak your dry corn in water for about 1 or 2 weeks to start germinate. AFTER
2.Seive out the soaked water out of the germinate fermented corn then dry it for a while. AFTER
3. MILLED the dry fermented germinate corn to flour form. AFTER
4. Mix the milled corn flour with many cup of Water and stir with a wooden spoon , wait for about 5 minutes to soak.
NOTE: (remember to soak with a lot of Water so it shouldn't become ticker but should rather be watery after soaking.) AFTER
5.set up the fire and put the soaked Mix corn flour and water on fire to boil till it change little colour . Then seive out the chaff from the syrup then allow it to cool down. AFTER
6. Pour a little amount of sugar in a sauce pan on fire then stir gently on the fire till become very brownish( chocolate color) then pour your boiled corn syrup( fermented corn syrup) in the brownish and stir gently after allow it to boil for sometime and turn off the fire then wait till the Asaana local drink to cool down. AFTER
7. Add the remaining of sugar in the Asaana and stir well to mix properly . AFTER
8. Seive the asana twice. AFTER
9. Store In a sterilized bottle glas. Allow to cool down if it still warm. AFTER
10. Store it in the refrigerator to chill AFTER if you want to ,you can add your milk And enjoy.
NOTE: the ice cube is for those who dont have fridge at home they should use the ice cube in the Asaana to chill then enjoy)
