🎉 Celebrate 200 years of Denys Corbet at a special ‘after hours’ event!
Guernsey Museum is opening its doors after hours this month to mark the bicentenary of one of the island’s most celebrated figures.
Denys Corbet – poet, artist and writer – is best remembered for his work in Guernesiais, earning him the nickname ‘Le Draïn Rimeux’ (‘The Last Poet’). Born on 22 May 1826, his life and legacy will be honoured exactly 200 years later.
