The Shumi Winery and Tourist Complex
is located in the village of Tsinandali, Kakheti, Georgia
Shumi occupies a historic location and borders the National Park and Museum named after A. Shumi has vineyards located in all of the historically famous and unique winemaking microzones of Georgia. In 2002, the First Tourist Complex in Georgia was created,which is completely unique and throughout the world has no equivalent counterparts. The Shumi Complex is comprised of 38 locations, including:
The First Wine Museum in Georgia, The First Comprehensive Varietal, Collection Vineyard in Georgia, The Marani, The Enoteca, The Georgian Ethnographic Pavilion. In 2019, the Shumi Tourist Complex was acknowledged as «the most beautiful venue in Georgia». In 2020, Shumi was recognized by one of the most important and prestigious wine competitions in the world at MUNDUS VINI Grand International Award as

At the 39th MUNDUS VINI Grand International Wine Award 2026, ILERCO by was awarded the prestigious GRAND GOLD medal. 🥇✨

Crafted from 100% Saperavi grown in the Mukuzani micro-zone of Kakheti, ILERCO is an exclusive, limited-production red wine, aged in French oak.

Its name carries a story centuries old. In the ancient Georgian language, “Ilerco” refers to a wine vessel made of precious metal. The label is inspired by a gilded silver wine bowl dating back to the 7th century, discovered in SHUMI’s Nadarbazevi vineyard - a connection between Georgia’s ancient wine culture and the wine we create today.

Step into one of Georgia’s most beautiful traditions and experience Rtveli - the Georgian grape harvest - in the heart of Kakheti.

Walk through SHUMI’s vineyards, harvest ripe grapes by hand, and discover the centuries-old ritual of grape crushing in a traditional wooden Satsnakheli - all surrounded by the atmosphere, flavors and sounds of Georgian wine country. 🍷

Your Rtveli experience includes:
