This Saturday at the Tasting Club meeting, we will try and discuss coffee from .
Tim Wendelboe is a well-known coffee roaster from Norway, with almost 25 years of experience in the coffee industry. He has participated in various competitions and had a significant impact on the field. In 2007, he established a small coffee roasting facility, a training center, and an espresso bar that attracts gastronomic enthusiasts from around the world. In 2015, Tim, after gaining substantial experience working with farmers and forming friendships, bought his coffee farm in Colombia. Our team has often found inspiration in his professional journey. He was one of the first to voice the major issues within the coffee industry and critique the quality of giant coffee companies. Over 10 years ago, he encouraged consumers to support local roasters and choose coffee beans with a traceable history back to the farmer.
There will be five lots at the tasting: coffee from Kenya, Geisha and Catuaí from Honduras, and two lots from Ethiopia. Each coffee will be brewed in a v60, sipped slowly and thoughtfully, as we engage in discussions with one another and our head barista Mykola.
