Investing in Grenada’s Future

The Sir Royston Hopkin Foundation is proud to welcome 9 new students to our Scholarship Programme this year — 8 graduates of Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Primary School and one child of a Spice Island Beach Resort employee.

With these new recipients, we now have 115 students currently enrolled in the programme, continuing a tradition of investing in education and opportunity that began in 1992.

Since its inception, the Scholarship Programme has awarded scholarships to over 720 students across Grenada, helping young people pursue their education and reach their full potential.

We remain proud to honour the legacy of Sir Royston O. Hopkin, KCMG, through our continued commitment to Grenada’s youth, investing in their education, supporting their potential, and helping to shape the leaders of tomorrow.

Our guests didn’t just watch J’ouvert - they lived it.

They embraced Jab, a centuries-old expression of resistance, resilience, emancipation and freedom, and “bathed in the oil” as Spicemas came alive.

Then, back at Spice, came the Spice treatment - exfoliating gloves, outdoor baths and a traditional Grenadian breakfast of saltfish and bakes, corn soup and tania porridge, all to the sweet sounds of soca.
