We’re delighted to announce the return of our much-loved Open Gardens event, hosted by Blodau Ystradgynlais — and this year we have some exciting new additions we can’t wait to share with you! 🌸🌼

✨ NEW for 2026 – Our very first Scarecrow Trail! ✨
Bring the family along and enjoy discovering our wonderful scarecrow creations while exploring beautiful local gardens filled with inspiration, colour, and community spirit.

There’ll also be:

😊 A lovely day out for all ages

🎟 Advanced tickets available from Cofion Cynnes, or on the day from Blodau members at The Cross, Ystradgynlais (SA9 1NS) from 10am.

It's a beautiful day to be by the river ☀️

A big thank you to our team, who are keeping things running in some pretty warm conditions today - particularly in the kitchen.

Please bear with us if service is a little slower than usual and remember to keep yourselves hydrated too.

We've got a big weekend planned at The Stables... ☀️
Friday night sees Chris Hardee return to the riverside from 7:30pm, bringing the soundtrack to a summer evening by the water.

Over in The Yard, we'll be showing France v Norway live on the big screen from 8pm as the World Cup continues.

On Saturday, there are still a few spaces left for our Dirty Dancing Bottomless Brunch. Two hours of bottomless drinks, a flatbread pizza, the movie on the big screen and a silent disco afterwards. If you've been thinking about booking, now's the time.

Then on Sunday we're really excited to welcome Brook Fox for our Sunday Session. One of the most exciting young artists in Wales right now, fresh from In It Together Festival and currently on the BBC Radio Wales A-List. Catch him live from 5pm at The Stables.

Good food, cold drinks, live music, football, sunshine and plenty happening all weekend!
