Job Title: Front of House Team Member
(Weekend & Flexible Cover)
Location: Wheldrakes , York
Hours: Part-Time (Set Sundays, rotating Saturdays, with excellent opportunities for extra mid-week hours during half-terms, holidays, and peak periods).
Age Requirement: 18+ (Due to working with commercial kitchen equipment and sharp objects).

**What You’ll Be Doing:**
The Face of the Cafe: Welcoming guests, taking dine-in and takeaway orders efficiently, and operating our EPOS (till) system.
Creative Presentation: Plating up and boxing our delicious cakes with an eye for detail and an "arty flare."
Drink Creation: Whipping up high-quality, Instagram-worthy milkshakes and smoothies.
Daily Operations: Managing card machine transactions, applying basic math skills for quick calculations, and helping with essential stock checks.
Teamwork: Working closely with the kitchen and floor team to maintain a clean, safe, and fast-paced environment.

Safety Conscious: Comfortable working safely in a busy environment around sharp objects and kitchen machinery.
