We're looking for someone with bread baking experience to join our team 🥰

We're offering flexible part time/full time hours and are happy to work with you to find a balance that fits. Shifts start at 7 am and finish no later than 4 (usually earlier). No evening work.

You'd prep the shop for service and then bake bread through lunch time so that we've always got bread just out of the oven to make sandwiches. We're a small team so there is plenty of variety in the work, doing bits of coffee making and front of house as well.

We're getting lovely heritage Isle of White tomatoes at the moment - delicious just on their own. If you fancy something a bit more substantial, this sandwich based on the flavours of a caprese salad is a real sunshine favourite.

No, it's actually an epic sandwich from Salt Pig Sandwiches - my go-to sandwich spot before The Wizard Walk of York!

Perfect for another hot* day (sunny spells still not worn off) and ideal for a picnic lunch 🥪🐷

This one's the Romy.

We love a Romesco sauce, sweet roasted peppers balanced with creamy almonds, some sherry vinegar and a touch of cayenne - delicious. Pop that in a sandwich with just about anything and it'll be great. Here we've got it with grilled aubergines, some shaved Gran Moravia (vegetarian hard cheese - like parmesan) and a little rocket.

Grab it off our spring menu (moving onto our summer menu in July).
