A little help needed! 😊

We think we may have accidentally overcharged a customer today at The Cafe Next Door, and we'd really like to put it right.

The order was 2 Coronation Chicken sandwiches and fries, and you had a black Labrador with you.

If this was you, please send us a message or pop into the shop so we can refund the difference.

We will be closed this weekend as Becca & Lee have escaped to Spain to enjoy some sunshine and exploring 🇪🇸✈️

As a small family-run business these little breaks are important but we're looking forward to coming back refreshed and ready for the summer ahead 🌞

We’re taking a few days off for a little theatre trip to London and to recharge the batteries 💛

As a small family-run business, taking time away isn’t always easy, but it’s really important for us to rest and reset.

We’re saying a big goodbye to our amazing barista Fern 😢

Fern is heading off to start an exciting new role with LNER and we are very proud of her. She’s been such a huge part of our cafe family since we opened – not just to us, but to so many of our customers as well. She’ll be hugely missed by everyone.

Thank you Fern - for all the mid-afternoon Pepsi pick-me-ups, milkshake shots, endless laughs, latte animals and your crazy stories… it really won’t be the same without you.

The one thing we won’t miss? All of our pens mysteriously disappearing into your hair… and we’re pretty sure our halloumi bill is about to go down too!!

Her day with us is next Sunday if you’d like to pop in and say goodbye 👋

If you're looking to pop in over the Easter weekend please note we are closed Good Friday as it's a usual non-opening day for us, and we are closed on Easter Monday.
