We offer a range of catering options for your wedding or event.

Every one is built around your day, and every one includes your event manager, waiting staff, crockery and cutlery, and a complimentary tasting for the two of you.

Prices are per guest and don’t include VAT.

🥂 Bronze, from £48. Four canapés, or a starter, main and dessert.

🥂 Silver, from £56. Four canapés, plus your three courses.

🥂 Gold, from £68. Everything in Silver, with evening food to carry the party on.

🥂 Platinum, from £86. The whole lot! Canapés, three courses, evening food, tea, coffee and mints, and our drinks package.

You can add our Drinks Package too, from £23.50 a head: a Prosecco or bottled beer on arrival, half a bottle of wine with dinner, and a pink fizz for the toast.

A service fee on top covers travel and setting up your venue.

We usually cater from around 60 guests, though we’re flexible, and a 20% deposit secures your date.

We started in 2012 with office buffets and a handful of weddings. A family who wanted to feed people properly and do it with a bit of care.

✨ 14 years on, Purple Chilli is a family-run Yorkshire wedding caterer based in York, cooking for weddings and big events across the county. What began small now happily feeds a room full of guests, and our standard has never slipped!

The team behind it all:

🌶️ Mark is our Head Chef, with Nova and Derek beside him in the kitchen.

🌶️ Clare is in the office and the first voice you’ll hear when you enquire.

🌶️ Mandy, our head waitress, is the one setting up your venue and running front of house on the day, while our waitresses look after your guests from the first canapé to the last plate.

We’re professional, and we’re approachable with it. Ask us anything!! We’d far rather build a bespoke menu around your day than hand you a fixed list, and we’ll do what it takes to make the day you’ve pictured happen.

It’s all British food with a gourmet feel, cooked from scratch using local produce. 🍃
