We have a selection of Haxby Bakehouse Bread at every market
And we’re open today 10-11.30am

We also have Rosewood Farm bringing fresh chicken (& frozen beef plus their produce is always in our freezer)

Local flowers from Woodclose Cottage

Fantastic brunch bagel (eggs, cheese, tang brown sauce) from Jim in the trailer

And Goldee’s bagels should be there too, so you can buy your own to fill however you like!

We love welcoming the Backhaus Swiss Bakery to our monthly producers market (which is on the last Saturday of every month!)

We are super excited to announce our first few market days for this year. In addition to selling at Food Circle in York, we will now also be at Malton Monthly food Market and Beverley Saturday Market once a month!

Things might still shift around as we get to grips with this new schedule, so please check our socials for regular updates 🙂

Edible York AGM next Wednesday... x

Edible York AGM 7.00 -8.30pm Wednesday 8th December

Healthy Soils, Climate and Sustainable food – What can we as Citizens of York do to make this happen? Guest speaker Joe Fennerty – Food Circle

It’s only central government that can address food issues in national ways, but on a local level there are things that we can do, and Joe Fennerty has demonstrated one HUGE action by organising the Best Market in the UK - and has the BBC cheese board to prove it!

Joe will kindly be on hand to answer questions about what he has done and why, but there’s much more still to be done. Sustainably grown food is vital for our future, and as citizens we can create so many more actions, large and small, diverse or mainstream, collectively organised or individually grown in our own gardens, that could help many more people to eat well.

This meeting includes 20 minutes or so for the Annual General Meeting. Please join us on zoom next Wednesday if you are free, to support the continuation of this charity, and to hear and contribute to this key discussion. Email: [email protected] to be sent the zoom link. Hope you can make it!
