Our signature Carrot Cake is a customer fave! With a layer of carrot halwa in the middle and topped with light cream cheese icing, it's a must-try. 🍓🍰Strawberry and elderflower flavors are coming soon to our whole cake list for pre-order from May-June. This week we quietly turned one. Blossoms are just finishing like when we opened last year, at petal-fall time. My Japanese pickled Sakura is on its way to be soon used in sweet creations.
I love noticing the full cycle of seasons having been here for a year… ingredients returning same things to forage, nettles wild garlic and cherry blossoms all make it to the menu one way or another.
I appreciate the familiarity of the location by now, the people on the street, our regulars, knowing the hour of the day by the sunshine coming through the window.
