The spacious lounge areas and facilities have been refurbished, a large beer garden opened and a new gallery room called ‘Art Post is now launched. This space is where local artists can rent single or multiple walls to display their work. A large Event Room is available for hire with its own licensed bar for up to 70 people, where there is a range of buffet menu options to cater for all manner of events, meetings or celebrations. Winning post, York prides itself on providing you a warm welcome in a community based and relaxed atmosphere and we are family and dog friendly. There are ample car and bike parking facilities.We are 3 minutes walk from the River & the Millennium footbridge a very close by to Bishopthorpe Road Shops or a mere 15 minutes walk from the city centre. GOOD NEWS! 😍🙌 you don’t have to choose between your favourite pub and watching the football…

With the exception of super late games and games that fall on race days (for the sake of everyone’s sanity!) we’ll be showing England games in our function room all throughout the World Cup, right the way through to the final 🤞🎉⚽️

Keep an eye on our socials for any updates or for other key games we’ll be showing, we’ll be sure to let you know as things progress! 🤩🙌

We’ll be taking table bookings in our function room for this, no later than one hour before each game begin, be sure to book so you don’t miss out 😌🫶🏼

Those of you just wanting to join for a chill meal or drink? Don’t worry! The main bar and back room will be a football free zone, so your fave pub will still be here for you to enjoy 😌❤️🍹
