We’re thrilled to share that we’ve made the Top 10 Fish & Chip Takeaways in the UK for the second year in a row! 🐟🍟

This recognition means the world to our small team here at The Scrap Box. It’s proof that passion, hard work and great customers can take you a long way. ❤️

There’s more judging ahead (yes, the mystery shoppers are back 👀) and then it’s off to London for the final in February. We’re determined to go one better this year and bring that trophy home!

We are delighted to have won the newcomer of the year at the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) awards in Edinburgh!

We've only been certified for a year and have put sustainability at the heart of what we do, educating on alternative species and sourcing fish exclusively from sustainable waters.

It’s no secret hospitality is a tough industry - long hours, high pressure, late nights.

But what’s often kept quiet is the toll it takes on mental health.

Spill have created this short video about our team and why services like this matter. We’re not just slinging chips — we’re trying to build a better environment for the people behind the counter too.
