WE ARE STAYING OPEN!

As the sun sets over campus and the last day before lockdown two, here at the K@A we are busy preparing for our reopening tomorrow as a takeaway venue!

We know many of you may be apprehensive about the next few weeks and the changes they may bring but you can rest assured you will still be able to get your daily dose of coffee from one of our team.

Opening hours will remain 9-3, with both the full food and drinks menu being available for takeaway (subject to availability). If you have any questions about our new set up please don't hesitate to drop us a message.

📸 Calling all budding student photographers! 📸

Everyone loves to take a cheeky picture of their cute latte art or cafe work station once in a while and we have noticed! With this in mind, we have decided to run our first photography competition here at the Kitchen in partnership with !

The competition will run for 1 week (23rd October - 30th October) with the theme being anything K@A. Whether you want to take a snap of your latte art, the outside of the venue in the morning light or even you and some friends enjoying lunch together at our venue, anyone can take part so get creative!

As we are including Photosoc in this opportunity, we have decided to have 2 prizes, 1 winner being from the general student community and the other from the entries that will come from members of Photosoc.

Both winners will win a £5 voucher to spend at the Kitchen, with their winning photo also being posted on our own and the official Instagram accounts.

Although there is no strict rules on what you can submit, we do ask that when in our venue, social distancing guidelines are followed and all indoor groups be from the same household.

Please direct message us your entries before the competition closes on Friday the 30th at 11.59pm (1 minute before Halloween 🎃). Winners will be announced the following Monday.
