Our Mission is:
To share God's love with the people of York and its visitors through caring service in the restaurant and shop; to encourage justice in trading - in the price, quality and origin of the goods we sell; to offer a listening ear; to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. All this is set in a beautiful historic church in the centre of York that has been converted into a restaurant, café

lounge and fair trade shop. Volunteers help staff this enterprise and the profits go to a charitable trust, among other things funding a professional counselling service. Most of our food is homemade with fairly traded ingredients and we trade with small local businesses. And our probably most specific feature is our kids' soft play area, which is especially popular with the 1-4 year olds.
