Hi everyone!

Unfortunately very recently we’ve had someone wanting to jeopardize our business by posting a horrible review which is far from the truth. We don’t think this is racially-motivated but merely someone who may be what we think is unnecessarily jealous. This person despite being a first-time customer strangely enough seems to know we’re of Turkish origin as well as that the lady in the shop is the ‘wife’ of the ‘Turkish fella’.

Anyone who knows us would know we’ve been here a very long time, are proud to be serving the local community and that as a family we work extremely hard to keep up the British tradition of fish & chips.

This post seems to be aimed at us rather than anything about our food, but since we also take great pride in our food and have been working with trusted suppliers for many years, we are also not happy to accept their fake review about our food claiming our ‘fish wasn’t crispy’ and that our ‘chips were soggy’. We never compromise on quality and those who have tried us will second that!

As people who have genuinely tried our food and know how hard working we are, we’d please kindly ask you to report this review as well as leave us a rating/review if you’ve ever had our food. We don’t normally ask for reviews as thankfully we have super lovely customers (new and old) who regularly buy from us but this fake review, for whichever motive has been written, is very and truly upsetting.
