Gardeners assistant/trainee vacancy.
We are looking for somebody who is enthusiastic, loves gardening and plants, and wants to learn more, and start a career in gardening. The position is 2 or 4 days per week, curently Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. We have a selection of good quality gardens that we maintain to a high standard. Experience is not necessary, but a willingness to work hard and learn is essential. The position is on a self employed basis with equipment supplied, but you must be able to get to Tollerton. Productive couple of hours moving some plants around in the green houses and polytunnel plus lots of hanging baskets and planters sorted ready for hardening off. Plus lots of other chores done at Holly cottage HQ today.

We will be back open tomorrow Friday 29th just for a few hours to ease petra back in gently she will be open 11-2. With a slightly smaller menu than usual but we have chocolate cake and brac available as well as sandwiches, toasties and fries. Unfortunately no quiche. We will also be open Saturday for breakfasts

We will continue to be closed for at least another couple of days. Hopefully petra will be up to reopening in a few days. But she is doing everything she can to rest up and get well so she can get back to the tearoom asap. She is missing you all and looks forward to being back open as soon as possible.

We have an opportunity for a gardeners assistant/trainee, on a self employed basis for 2 or 4 days per week. To work with an experienced gardener around Easingwolds surrounding villages, at customers quality gardens, providing a high quality service, including pruning, weeding, grass cutting, hedge cutting, etc. Experience is not necessary but must be reliable, able to get to Tollerton, enthusiastic about gardening, willing to work hard and willing to learn.
