Hello there,
John here, the new guy at Fields Fayre. Figured I would finally introduce myself.
I have been here a couple of months now and just this weekend have started giving the place a lick of paint. Over the next few weeks on evenings and weekends i'll be doing a bit of work freshening the place up and I intend to open on Saturdays from 23rd April.
I have actually set up a different FB page, I have had my own business for a while now so I have just changed that page into a page for here. Prior to coming here I was running Wilberfoss Pavilion, I also have a mobile bar business, but fancied getting out of the pub trade to spend more time with my family on evenings and weekends. If you want to be kept up to date head on over to Sunny's Cafe and Sandwich Bar.
I'll be changing the name aswell soon enough, 'Sunny' is the family nickname, the place is going to be brightened up so I figured that would be a good match.
Anyway, enough of me rambling on.

We’ve had a positive Covid test this morning. I’m on the school run but will try and open somehow today.

To all the lovely Fields Fayre customers it’s been an amazing 20 years but it’s time for me to move on…. I leave you in the very capable hands of Fields new owner John.

Monday 17th May is almost here 💕, it’s been a long long time since we had seating inside (March 2020 😱). We will be gradually reintroduced our indoor seating from Monday, while ensuring social distancing is not compromised, thankyou for your understanding during these ever changing times xx
