A huge thank you to YorkMix for featuring us! ❤️

It means so much to see Casa and our incredible team recognised, and to have our story shared here in York makes it even more special.

Thank you YorkMix for the lovely feature, and once again, thank you to every single person who has supported us, visited us and left a review. We genuinely couldn’t have done this without you.

Four York restaurants are named among the best in Britain – and one is at number eight in the world!

I honestly don’t know where to begin. What incredible news to receive while I’m here in Brazil. ❤️🇧🇷

For the second year running, Casa has been named Tripadvisor’s #1 Best of the Best Casual Dining Restaurant in the UK, and #8 in the world.

I am incredibly proud.

Casa has been part of York for over 10 years (formerly Vaquieros), and anyone who knows me knows just how much this restaurant means to me. To see what we have achieved together is very emotional, especially being so far away from everyone right now.

First, I want to thank my amazing team. This award is yours. The hard work, long days, passion, care and energy you give to Casa every day is what makes it the place it is. I’m so proud of every single one of you and very lucky to have such a fantastic team around me.

And to our customers, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for choosing us, coming back to see us, celebrating your special moments with us, recommending us and taking the time to leave your reviews. Without your support, none of this would be possible.

To be #1 in the UK for two years running and #8 in the world is something I never could have imagined when our journey began.

I’m celebrating with you all from Brazil for now, but I’ll be home very soon and I can’t wait to celebrate properly with my Casa family.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Eduardo ❤️

And somehow it gets even more incredible… we’ve also been ranked 8th IN THE WORLD!

To achieve this once was something we were unbelievably proud of. To be awarded the number one spot in the UK for a second consecutive year is genuinely overwhelming.

These awards are based on the reviews and experiences shared by our guests, which makes this recognition mean even more to us. Every review, recommendation, return visit, celebration and person who has told a friend about Casa has helped us get here.

A huge thank you to our incredible team too. From the kitchen and grill to the restaurant floor, they put so much passion into what they do every single day, and this belongs to every one of them.

And finally, thank YOU. To everyone in York, everyone who has travelled to visit us and every guest who has walked through our doors, your support has taken our little piece of Brazil in York all the way to 1st in the UK and 8th in the world.

Absolutely unbelievable. ❤️

TWO YEARS. NUMBER ONE. THANK YOU!
