Lovely little job yesterday fitting some wall panelling!

Here’s my process;

Measure entire height and width of wall
I cut my 9mm MDF strips to 70mm wide (anything between 70-100mm is fine)
Have your adhesive and nail gun ready
Apply the border first
Then work out the spacings accordingly to how many rows and columns you want
Apply your verticals first
And then your horizontals
Go around with filler for any gaps or joins
Let it dry and sand smooth
Now you’re ready for priming and painting!

Just thought I’d share a very brief insight into what is involved in the making of tongue and grooved shaker doors for anyone that’s ever looked at their kitchen cupboards and wondered how they might have been made!

(Excuse the hands) - I’ve been grafting on the farm this morning and then was straight into the workshop so they are also covered in dried wood glue! So please don’t be concerned - I don’t need to see a doctor 🤣🤣🤣
