☀️ HEATWAVE WARNING THIS WEEK ☀️
The forecast says it’s going to be a scorcher this week, and whilst we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to enjoy the sunshine, we also want to make sure our team stay safe.
Our bar and kitchen teams will be working in extremely hot conditions, especially those in the kitchen who will be standing in front of grills, fryers and ovens throughout the day. To help protect their wellbeing, team members will be taking regular breaks to cool down, rehydrate and recover from the heat.
During the quieter parts of the day, there may be short periods where the kitchen closes to allow the team a well-earned break from the heat. Food service will resume as normal afterwards, and we’ll always keep guests informed.
We kindly ask for your patience and understanding if service takes a little longer than usual. Our team work incredibly hard all year round, and a little extra kindness goes a long way when temperatures are pushing everyone to their limits.
Please be assured that we’re doing everything we can to keep both our guests and team comfortable and safe. Stay hydrated, wear your sun cream, and if you see one of our chefs looking slightly medium-rare, please know we’re doing our best to prevent that! 😄
