Hi everyone,

Please support our neighbours next door, the community need this shop for many reasons. Please sign and share and help the staff keep their jobs. Thank you ❤️

As some of you may have heard, the Morrisons on Glenthorne Avenue is proposed to close on 29 July, which means that the Hundredstone Post Office, located inside, is also due close.

This poses the risk that local residents, particularly elderly and vulnerable individuals, will no longer have easy access to vital postal services.

For too long, across Yeovil and South Somerset, we have needed greater funding for postal services, alongside countless other local services, but successive governments have failed to deliver this.

That's why I have created a petition opposing the proposed closure and expressing wider concern about declining funding for in-person local services.
