🎉 GUESS WHAT… WE’VE GOT SOME VERY EXCITING NEWS! 🎉

Our Head Chef Gene Rabbitts had some absolutely fantastic news earlier today… and we’re delighted to say he’s BACK IN THE CATASH KITCHEN! 👨‍🍳🔥

And what better way to celebrate than by cooking up a proper storm?! 😍

Gene’s back behind the pans and our Specials Board is looking rather fabulous tonight… so if you fancy letting someone else worry about the cooking, the washing up and whether you’ve actually got anything decent in the fridge… you know where to come! 😂

💜 PAN-FRIED DUCK BREAST
Served with gnocchi, fresh vegetables & an apple, cranberry and cider sauce.

💚 LAMB RUMP
Pan-cooked to medium, served with gnocchi & fresh vegetables in a red wine, mint & rosemary sauce.

💙 SEAFOOD LINGUINE
Pan-cooked seafood linguine served with garlic bread. 🍝

🩷 TRIO OF CUMBERLAND SAUSAGES
With buttery mash, peas, onion gravy & crispy onions. Now that’s what we call proper pub grub! 😋

🤍 CAULIFLOWER CHEESE BAKE
Served with salad & chips — and why not add bacon? Because… BACON. 🥓😂

Come and spend a wonderful afternoon with us at The Catash Inn while helping raise vital funds for Macmillan Cancer Support — a cause that means so much to us and to many in our community.

This year, we’re doing things a little differently: our Macmillan Coffee Morning is becoming a delicious Macmillan Afternoon Tea! 🫖🎂

☀️ SUNDAY FUN DAY… GO ON THEN, YOU’VE EARNED IT. ☀️

Right, Sunday’s here again… and if you’re thinking “I can’t be bothered to cook today”, well, that’s alright then.

Don’t. 😂

Come and let us do it.

We’ve got the Sunday roasts on, and they’re proper job.

🥔 Roasties
🥕 Roast parsnips
🥦 Three vegetables
🧀 Cauliflower cheese
🥞 Yorkshire pudding
🤎 And proper gravy — enough of it as well, none of this “is that supposed to be gravy?” business.

And if you’re veggie or vegan, don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten you. We’ve got you covered too.

👧🧒 The kiddiwinks can have their own smaller roasts, so everyone’s sorted.

Although knowing our luck, they’ll eat the Yorkshire pudding, nick your roasties and declare themselves full. 🤣

Then there’s pudding…

Now, you might be sitting there thinking, “No, I couldn’t possibly…”

Course you can.

We’ve got our very own dessert chef and every pudding is homemade here on site, so you’d be rude not to really. 🍰

And once you’ve eaten your way through all that, there’s a local ale or cider on tap, a bottle of wine, or maybe a gin or two.

It’d be a shame to waste the afternoon, wouldn’t it? 😉

🎶 AND WE’VE GOT MUSIC TOO! 🎶

We’re delighted to have BROCK LIVE from 2pm–5pm for our very first ‘Light Blues Jazz’ Sunday Session.

Nothing too fancy.

Just good music, good food, good drink and a proper Sunday afternoon at the pub.

So here’s the plan:

Have a lie-in.
Get the chores done.
Pretend you’re going to cook.
Realise you can’t be bothered.
Come to the pub instead. 😂

We’ll sort the roast.

We’ll sort the pudding.

We’ll sort the drinks.

And you can sit down, have a natter, listen to a bit of music and generally put the world to rights.

No peeling spuds.
No washing-up.
No arguing with the oven.
No “who’s doing the gravy?”

Just EAT. DRINK. RELAX.

Then home, nice and full, ready for an early night…

…and Monday can wait until Monday.

Ahhh Wednesday… that magical day in the middle of the week where you’re not quite at the weekend, but you’re definitely wondering “Is it Friday yet?” 😂

And apparently… Wednesday is now the day for a roast?! 🤔😂

WHY?! 😂😂

Don’t panic… we’ve got Wednesday sorted! 🙌
