Front of House Team Member

Hours: 40 hours per week including weekends

About the Role
Casa Hotel, Yateley, is looking for a friendly, professional and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our team. This is a varied role covering hotel reception, bar, restaurant and events, providing excellent customer service and ensuring our guests have a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
Key Responsibilities
Hotel Reception
* Welcoming guests and providing a friendly, professional first impression.
* Checking guests in and out of the hotel.
* Preparing and issuing invoices, processing payments and handling guest bills.
* Answering telephone calls and responding to emails and guest enquiries.
* Assisting with general reception and administrative duties.
Bar Service
* Preparing and serving drinks.
* Providing friendly and efficient service to customers.
* Taking orders and processing payments.
* Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming bar area.
Restaurant Service
* Greeting guests and taking food and drink orders.
* Serving food and beverages to a high standard.
* Preparing and presenting bills and processing payments.
* Keeping tables and service areas clean, tidy and organised.
* Ensuring guests receive excellent service throughout their visit.
Events and Functions
* Assisting with weddings, birthdays, celebrations and other special events.
* Serving plated meals and providing buffet service.
* Setting up event spaces and preparing tables.
* Clearing tables and keeping event areas clean and presentable.
* Working closely with the team to ensure events run smoothly.
The Ideal Candidate
* Has a friendly, welcoming and professional manner.
* Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Is organised, reliable and able to work as part of a team.
* Is comfortable working across reception, bar, restaurant and events.
* Can remain calm and efficient in a busy environment.
* Is flexible and willing to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
Previous hospitality experience would be an advantage, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
