⛳ Charity Golf Day — Friday 22nd May ⛳

This Friday we’re holding our annual charity golf day in support of Alex TLC, The Leukodystrophy Charity.

Alex TLC supports children, adults and families affected by leukodystrophy. Leukodystrophy is a rare group of genetic conditions that affect the brain, spinal cord and nervous system. It can have a huge impact on everyday life, including movement, speech, vision, hearing and development.

The charity provides support, information and guidance to families facing an incredibly difficult diagnosis, helping them feel less alone and giving them somewhere to turn when they need it most. It is a truly important charity, and we’re proud to be raising money for them.

The golf kicks off in the morning at Stanton-on-the-Wolds, with £100 from each team entry going directly to Alex TLC.

Good luck to all the golfers taking part — there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, so no pressure… but we’re expecting some healthy competition. 👀⛳

Then, from around 4pm onwards, everyone will be heading back to The Plough for refreshing drinks, followed by our raffle and auction from around 5:30pm.

All money raised from the raffle and auction will also go directly to Alex TLC.

The wait is finally over… the garden is blooming and she’s looking gorgeous 🌸☀️

The flowers are out, the parasols are up and the sunshine has finally made an appearance, so come and have a little blooming lovely afternoon with us.

We’re looking forward to seeing you all in your flip flops, sunnies on and drinks in hand… that’s if the UK can stay this way, fingers crossed!! 🤞🍻

Ian and Mick have been super busy relaying the grass ready for spring and summer, and it’s already made such a difference.

They’re also working on the flowers at the moment too, so keep an eye out for those soon 🌸

Valentine’s at The Plough 💘
Adam will be singing love songs from 7pm, so come down early, grab a table and enjoy a drink by the fire.
We’ll also be doing a How Well Do You Know Your Valentine? game — just a bit of fun with your other half at the local.

✨🎄 The pub is officially ready for Christmas! 🎄✨
The lights are twinkling, the tree is up, and every corner is filled with that cosy festive magic we look forward to all year. We’d love you to come in, enjoy the atmosphere and take in all the decorations our team have worked so hard on.

Our big real Santa is back in his favourite spot and is now a proper Christmas tradition here — we love seeing all your photos with him each year.

Christmas is our favourite time of year, and we can’t wait to welcome you in for a warm fire, a festive drink, and plenty of good company. ❤️🔥
