Don’t forget Roots will be closed until spring 2026 while the building work takes place.
We are excited to see the new space take shape but know that some will struggle while we are closed. Please do contact us via [email protected]
or wymondhambaptist.org if you need something and we will endeavour to help.

Merry Christmas from All the Roots volunteers 🎄
It has been another wonderful year getting to know new people and sharing life with old friends. Showing kindness and spending time listening to others doesn’t cost a thing, we can all do our bit and we’ve loved every minute of 2024 ❤️
We pray you all have a wonderful Christmas and look forward to seeing you in 2025

Roots is open tomorrow 10-1 and then we are closed until Wednesday 8th January 2025

What a fantastic session at Roots, we have been busy but more than that we have been truly blessed by all the lovely comments and support shown by all our friends today.
It was the boost our volunteers needed after the break in and lifted everyone’s spirits.
The response to the go fund me post on the Wymondham Baptist church page has also been amazing. We always try to keep our costs as low as we can at Roots and don’t look to make a profit with what we serve. All the kindness and generosity will allow us to put in new security measures to keep us protected in the future.

It does make me sad that this has happened and that someone could do this to us when all we want is to offer help and support and a warm caring environment for people to come along and thrive in. But it has been a reminder of just how wonderful the Wymondham community is, you see so much negativity on Facebook it’s nice to be reminded just how wonderful Wymondham folk are.
So thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!

Visit us today as we join in with Vintage Day, we have a special ROOTS 66 menu and live music throughout the day. With plenty of seats, why not take a break and refuel with us. Open 11-4

We are done! Kitchen is complete, coffee machine is back, we just need to restock and we are ready.
Join us on Vintage Day, 11-4 as we open as Roots66. We can’t wait to see you all and what better way to start than joining in with this fantastic community event!
We will have an special menu on this day with an American theme. There is also live music in the church, come and sing along to some of your favourite oldies.

Roots reopens normally on the 20th September , remember we are changing our days and will now be open on a Wednesday and Friday not Monday💕 see you soon!!
