So in between my visit to The farm cafe at centre paws to pick up the yummy vegan traybake for the shop (and iced latte because why not!) I then popped back to the coffee shop to test out my new syrup……..welcome the honeycomb milkshake! (I’m sure it goes well in coffee and hot chocolate too 🥤☕️.
I then figured I’ve clearly broken my ‘no dairy’ policy today so why not tick another place off my cafe safari trail…….so off I pop to see the lovely Katherine at Mad Hatters Tearoom for an iced (soya) latte and delicious fruit scone although it was hard to choose as she always has such lovely looking cakes.
Other places I have recently been to but forgot to check off are Four seasons at the garden centre and Coffee with Flo. We really do serve some lovely coffee in Wymondham and it’s good to know on my days off I can still get a proper coffee!

Please stay hydrated during this heatwave and please be patient with us while we take care of ourselves too. It is not easy working in hospitality in extreme heat but we stay open!

We will be open a little later today at 9:30am and hot food will stop at 12pm to limit the heat circulating in the shop. We will be closing at 2:30.

Don’t forget this weeks salad special is zesty quinoa 🍋.

The sun is shining and the heat is on but we have the perfect selection of iced drinks to cool you down!

🥕The carrot & pecan scones were a hit earlier this week so they too have made a reappearance today and only just out of the oven so grab them while they are warm!

How can we not shout about some vegan friendly delights we have on offer today……

🍓This weather calls for strawberry and vanilla scones (if you’re not vegan why not add some yummy clotted cream)

🥗As promised we have our zesty quinoa salad and it is positively delicious and just tastes like summer

🍫Now on to my favourite tray bake of all time…….and I can’t even take credit for it as I didn’t make it! We are pleased to have on offer the scrummy chocolate and courgette traybake from the wonderful team at The farm cafe @ centre paws! This is one bake we will be happy to not sell as it means we can eat it all 😋

This week we are highlighting some yummy vegan friendly options on offer.

Our scone of the day is always vegan friendly and today we have spiced carrot and pecan. This pairs lovely with our vegan friendly chai which is just as lovely iced as it is hot!

From Thursday our salad of the week with be a lovely vegan friendly zesty quinoa salad.

We also offer a separate vegan menu with lots to choose from.

Whether you are vegan / dairy free or just fancy something different there’s something for everyone!

Let’s talk reviews………..

When was the last time you complimented a business on their product or service and went home to leave a review? Personally my last review was in March for a skip company (I highly recommend PSF environmental if anyone needs a skip).

Since then I have had many lovely meals / coffees etc out and have paid my compliments to the businesses but never had ‘time’ for a review to share my positive experiences with others.

Now you may feel it’s not necessary as ultimately we will all make our own decisions on where to go and form our own opinions ………on the other side though as a small business owner I can tell you that every little compliment makes a difference, sometimes at the end of a challenging day just seeing that one bit of positivity shared can put a smile on a teams face.

This week I urge you to leave just one positive review for a business that has made you smile. Maybe they served you the best coffee you’ve had in a while or the yummiest cake, or maybe they repaired your car at short notice or even something as simple as giving you super friendly service! Let’s spread some positivity this rainy week!
