Got this comment today, and it honestly stopped me for a moment. ❤️
We don’t often talk about what’s gone on behind the scenes with this place.

When we first took this venue on, the pressure and unexpected costs nearly broke us before we even opened the doors. Then COVID hit, our baby was poorly, the hours were mad… and we definitely haven’t always got everything right. We’ve made mistakes learning as we go, like anyone would.

But one thing has always stayed the same:
we want people to come here, relax, have a laugh, and enjoy proper food that’s made in-house with care.

Smokin’ Jack’s has never been about being serious.
It’s about a fun, quirky, slightly crazy night out, with food that tastes good and is made from scratch. We make the sauces, the buns, the rubs, the meats. everything we can. Sometimes we even run out because we haven’t made enough, but that’s because it’s all handmade.

We’re not perfect, but we care.
And comments like this remind us exactly why we keep going.

What an amazing night, a massive thank you to everyone who came out and supported us tonight!
From walk-ins to big groups, families, locals and visitors… you made the place come alive. ❤️

We had:
✨ A huge table walk in
✨ Incredible feedback (including loving our Tullahoma Mushrooms so much they ordered FOUR portions!)
✨ Smooth service, great vibes, full tables and smiles all round

Nights like this remind us why we do what we do, and we appreciate every one of you.
