The Golden Lion is situated in the heart of the picturesque Welsh village of Rossett. Inside the pub, the eclectic mix of old and new bring together a comforting homely appeal with a warm welcome and log fires. s offering a wide range of styles and flavours. As renowned for its ghost stories as it is for food the pub has its own spectral guest, Old Jeffrey. Jeffrey now lives quite contentedly in bedroom 2 upstairs and though still inclined to mischief, is perfectly harmless.

More for the fact that Claire refused to do a handstand as she felt her knees would cave in, but also the fact that Sophie did it in one take without knocking over her drink!

Day four and final of Festival VIII; our very own Molly Lundy is performing from 3pm in the tipi, we are serving pub lunches alongside our BBQ menu which also runs 12-4pm. Of course Monday 50p off cask ale is on so a great excuse to get those guests ales in!

The annual BRHS show is a fantastic event put together by amazing volunteers, so worth breaking the day up between bands here or a great first stop on the way to our event.
