Just call us "We're backing the bid St Social" lads!

The team from Wrecsam2029 submitted their bid to become the UK's City of Culture 2029 last week.

Winning the title will see millions of pounds of investment come into Wrexham!

Alongside the submitted bid, the Wrecsam2029 also dropped a short promotional film called "You Came for the Name" which is well worth a watch over of the official Wrecsam2029 website!

The film features lots of familiar faces on the screen and has been produced by lots of local faces behind the screen and it showcases the abundance of talent and stories we have in this town / city / country (delete for your preference)

Anyway, all this to say, We're Bank Street Social and we're backing the bid.

We have a working cash machine!

Our internet problems yesterday are likely to be hanging around for a few days but we've been able to steal a bit of WiFi from our neighbour and we've got our Sum Up reader so card payments have re-entered the chat!

A huge diolch yn fawr to everyone for bearing with us yesterday! We will be back to some sort of normality today!

Also a huge shout out to .thorpe and who smashed yesterday in really difficult circumstances! 💪
