Just a heads up to tell you all that Happy Hedgehog Cafe is closed next week for reverbishment, we reopen all decorated and refreshed and ready for the coming season Tuesday 1st of September

We are more than just a cafe, we are a meeting place. A farmshop, Part of a textile shop. A dance centre. A business hub with electric points to charge your tech, as well as a place to relax, or simply a place to not feel alone.

This is our Pete, we call him Peter peeler, to a lot of the residents of Queensway he is known as Peter pumpkin. For over four years he has very wonderfully, volunteered at Hedgehog Café.

Quirky and funny he finds joy in everyday

He also cuts dozens of onions and never tears up, (still have no clue as to why he is obviously immune to onions)
Popular, adores kids and spoils them rotten, he will do anything for anyone, unless music is playing and if a song he loves comes on, then all tools are dropped, in order to dance!
He actually has some impressive moves!

Pete has had quite the life, yet I don’t think any of us have ever heard him gossip or scowl.

He is simply a pure, wonderous joy and makes Happy Hedgehog Café a little brighter …go Pete!!
