Jo had an absolutely beautiful send off yesterday 💕
A big thank you to everyone who made it to say their goodbyes and celebrate her life.

Firstly, Jo’s family and the Aballu team would like to send out a great big thank you for all of your beautiful messages and kind words about Jo. They have been a huge comfort in this very hard time. We knew how wonderful she was and that she was so loved, and it’s just so lovely to see how far her love spread 🥰
Secondly, I have been ask to let you know about the details for Jo’s funeral.
It will take place at the Crematorium on Monday 20th June, arriving at 1.15pm to start at 1.30pm.
After we will move on to the Methodist Church on Regent Street, Wrexham at 2.30pm. This will be an informal celebration of Jo’s life with refreshments and a memory book for people to write in if they would like to.
People are invited to attend either venue or both if they so wish.
Thank you again for all your love and support, it is very much appreciated 💕

The Aballu team have some heartbreaking news that we need to share with all of our amazing friends and loyal customers.
It is with great sadness we need to announce that on Saturday morning our wonderful, fearless leader Jo passed away.
Taken from our world far too soon.
There are no words that can describe how saddened we are by this news.
Jo poured her heart and soul into Aballu and was so truly thankful for every customer she had the pleasure to meet. Making people happy with her creations was her absolute passion.
She was such a beautiful soul, always happy to help anyone in need, and of course made the best chocolates any of us have ever tasted!
Jo will be terribly missed by all who knew her, especially her family and friends.
Please respect Jo’s family and their privacy in this unmentionably difficult time.
We love you so much Jo, thank you for being one of the all time greatest 💕

We've made it! Aballu is 15 today!🙂
I know I say this every time, but this is very much about saying thanks to all of you - for buying from us, for telling others about us, for liking & sharing our posts, and just for supporting us over the last 15 years!

I hadn't stayed in a job for more than a few years before this, so it's quite an achievement to have kept me occupied for that amount of time, too.😂 I've put a few images here of some of the things we've created over the last 15 years.😋

Next Wednesday sees Aballu reach the grand old age of 15!
We usually do something on our birthday, even if it's coffee & cake at The Cocoa Rooms, but this year is, of course, a little different.

As a lot of you will know, for 10 years, I celebrated by doing the World Record attempt, but what can we do for this next milestone?

So, we're asking all of you to come up with 15 'challenges' for us to complete (well, mainly me).😁
There are some 'rules'.
1. The challenges need to be chocolate-related🍫.
2. They need to be cheap to do & not too big, so please don't ask for a football field-sized bar of chocolate!😂
3. It needs to be something that can be completed by an individual.

So over to you. Be nice!😁

P.S. Just in case the 'Elves' are rubbing their hands in glee at this - I'm happy to delegate some of the challenges.😁
