It’s Sunday! And it’s cooling off! Does that mean our traditional roasts will be more popular than our summer roasts today? And of course, we have all day happy hour! Whether you join us, chill with family, mates or take a well deserved break, we hope you have a fantastic Sunday. You deserve it.

Today, we are serving a selection of traditional and summer roasts and Dave’s fish pie, along with starters and light bites, specials and desserts. Our pooch friendly garden will be open, with our big kids play area, garden games and free ice lollies for little ones. Serving our kids menu all day, along with a selection of £3 dishes for toddlers. Oh and did we mention all day happy hour?? 😉

On the specials board! Chef Dave has been very busy creating some yummy bites for you!

Spiced beef koftas with a rich tomato sauce and pickled chillis.

Blistered padron peppers with smoked hickory salt, and a dijon and sherry vinegar dressing.

Dave and the team are trying it dishes for our new menu which launches at the start of September. Make sure you try these and let us know what you think!

Aaaaand we’re back open in 20 mins! While the kitchen isn’t open today, we still have plenty going on. Free ice lollies for the little ones who want some sunshine and free pool all day for those who want to stay inside. And don’t forget double happy hour this afternoon and evening! See you soon!

On the specials today! Crispy oregano and black pepper creamed polenta with pomedero sauce, parmesan, fresh chilli and basil. Will this end up on Chef Dave’s new menu? You’ll have to wait and see!

We're postponing our pub garden olympics! Looking like we might not have the weather we hoped for... but fear not!

If the weather does hold out we will do a version of the games with prizes, and still hold our big games later this month or in September.

All of the signed up teams have been informed so you can now just show up on Saturday if you want to play (and the weather's nice).
